Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where our Best Egypt Tours representative will be waiting to greet you. You’ll be transferred to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 2: Pyramids & Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, embark on a fascinating journey to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to over 5,000 years of Egyptian art, including the priceless Tutankhamun treasures. Then, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Explore the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, and see the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 3: Sakkara & Memphis Tour
After breakfast, your guide will meet you to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser in Sakkara, the world’s oldest major stone structure. Then, travel to Memphis, the capital of ancient Egypt, where you can see the magnificent statue of Ramses II. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 4: Cairo – Nile Cruise – East Bank Tour
Enjoy breakfast before heading to the domestic airport for a flight to Luxor. Once in Luxor, visit the magnificent Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, known for its impressive statues of Ramses II. Afterward, board your Nile Cruise before lunch. Overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 5: Nile Cruise – West Bank Tour
Enjoy breakfast on board before crossing to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to your cruise for lunch and an afternoon of leisure. Enjoy afternoon tea before your overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 6: Nile Cruise
Begin your day with breakfast on board, then sail to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus. Continue to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Enjoy lunch and afternoon tea while sailing to your next destination. Overnight stay in Kom Ombo.
Day 7: Nile Cruise – Aswan
After breakfast, sail to Aswan, where you’ll visit the High Dam and the Philae Temple, located on the island of Agilkia. Sail on a traditional felucca boat before returning to your cruise for an overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 8: Aswan – Cairo
After breakfast, disembark from the cruise. (Optional) Take an excursion to Abu Simbel to visit the colossal temples of Ramses II. Return to Aswan and fly back to Cairo, where you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 9: Alexandria
Travel from Cairo to Alexandria with our expert guide. Visit the world-famous Library of Alexandria, the Roman Amphitheatre, and the ancient El Nabi Daniel Mosque. Explore Alexandria’s vibrant markets and enjoy an optional lunch at a traditional seafood restaurant. Continue your tour with stops at the Montaza Palace gardens and the picturesque Corniche. Overnight stay in Alexandria.
Day 10: Cairo Free Day
After breakfast, return to Cairo for a free day of exploration. (Optional tour) Visit the Citadel of Salah El Din and the Mohamed Ali Mosque. Then, head to Coptic Cairo to explore the Hanging Church, Abu Sirga Church, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 11: Departure
After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Cairo International Airport, assisting you through departure formalities.
