Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, you will be greeted by our representative holding a sign of Ramasside Tours. You will then be transferred by air-conditioned car to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Cairo Tour – Mummies Experience – Pyramids and Camel Ride
After breakfast, your day begins with a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, which offers a general overview of all the historical periods of Egypt. The museum houses more than 50,000 artefacts, showcasing Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times to the present day.
The Royal Mummies Hall within the museum is a must-see, where mummified kings and queens such as Hatshepsut, Thutmose, and Ramses are displayed in a climate-controlled environment. These mummies, which date back over 4,000 years, are well-preserved and offer fascinating insights into the lives of Egypt’s ancient rulers.
Next, you will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza—Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. The Pyramid of Cheops is the most colossal of them all. You will also see the Sphinx, a massive funerary complex with the body of a lion and the face of King Chephren.
Enjoy a camel ride, offering panoramic views of the Sphinx and the Pyramids while hearing fascinating stories of the Pharaohs.
(Optional) Evening trip to attend the Sound and Light show at the Pyramids.

Day 3: Sakkara and Memphis Tour
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure, built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser.
Then, continue to Memphis, the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom and the centre of rule and culture for over 3,000 years. Visit the Statue of Ramses II, one of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs.
Return to the hotel.
(Optional) Evening trip for a dinner cruise on the Nile, including Egyptian folk shows.

Day 4: Cairo to Luxor – Luxor Museum
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo domestic airport and fly to Luxor.
Upon arrival, visit Luxor Museum, which displays a well-chosen collection of antiquities from the Old Kingdom to the Mamluk period, mainly from the Theban temples and necropolis.
Next, visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. At the Luxor Temple, you will see its grand courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great.
Overnight in Luxor.
Day 5: Nile Cruise – Dandara and Abydos Tour
Transfer to visit Abydos, an ancient Egyptian site associated with Osiris, the god of the underworld. The temple here was built by King Seti I and completed by King Ramses II.
Then continue to Dandara to see the Temple of Hathor, the goddess of love and joy.
Afterward, transfer to your Nile cruise.
Lunch on board.
Overnight in Luxor.
Day 6: Nile Cruise – King Tut’s Tomb – Valley of the Queens
Breakfast on board.
Visit the West Bank of Luxor to explore the Valley of the Kings and the tombs of various pharaohs. You will visit King Tutankhamun’s tomb, one of the most famous in the Valley of the Kings.
Continue to the Valley of the Queens, where you can visit the colorful tomb of Queen Nefertari (extra ticket).
Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari.
Lunch on board, followed by an afternoon at leisure.
Overnight on the cruise.
Day 7: Nile Cruise
Breakfast on board.
Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus.
Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris.
Lunch on board.
Afternoon tea.
Overnight in Kom Ombo.
Day 8: Nile Cruise – Nubian Village
Breakfast on board.
Sail to Aswan and visit the Temple of Philae.
Then, transfer by motorboat to visit a traditional Nubian village on the west bank of the Nile. Enjoy the scenic views over the river and learn about the local customs and culture.

Day 9: Aswan to Cairo – Abu Simbel Trip
Breakfast on board, followed by disembarkation.
(Optional) Visit the Temple of Abu Simbel, the colossal temples built by Ramses II, later saved from the Nile’s rising waters.
Return to Aswan, transfer to the airport, and fly to Cairo.
Arrive in Cairo and transfer to your hotel.

Day 10: Alexandria Tour
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel for a full day in Alexandria.
Start by visiting the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the largest library in the world, housing 8 million books. You will also see statues of Alexander the Great and Ptolemy I found underwater.
Visit the Roman Amphitheatre and see the display of sunken monuments discovered in the East Harbor of Alexandria.
Next, visit the Church of St. Mark, the oldest church in Africa.
Explore the traditional markets of Alexandria, including the women’s markets and gold market.
Visit the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, the most beautiful mosque in the city, and the old funfair next to it.
Continue to the Montaza Gardens, where you will explore the royal gardens and royal palaces of King Farouk.
Overnight in Alexandria.
Day 11: Rosetta Tour
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Rosetta, located 60 km from Alexandria.
Take a boat ride on the Nile to see where the Nile meets the Mediterranean, and visit the castle where the Rosetta Stone was discovered in 1799.
Afterward, explore the Islamic monuments in Rosetta and return to Cairo.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 12: Cairo’s Best-Kept Secrets
After breakfast, experience the real taste of Egypt through a food tour, tasting some of the best Egyptian foods.
