Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, you will be greeted by our representative holding a sign for Best Egypt Tours. You will then be transferred by air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids and Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, begin your tour by visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to a rare collection spanning over 5,000 years of history, including the famous Tutankhamun collection, featuring treasures, gold, and jewelry. Next, visit the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, and explore the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 3: Sakkara and Memphis Tour
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest large stone structure, built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser. Next, visit Memphis, the capital of ancient Egypt, founded by King Menes, and explore the site, including the impressive Statue of Ramses II. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 4: Citadel and Old Cairo Tour
Following breakfast, meet your guide to visit Salah El Din Citadel, constructed in 1183 AD to protect Cairo from Crusader armies. Continue to the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, built for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt from 1805-1849. Explore Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, and Church of Abu Serga. Conclude your day with shopping at the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 5: Cairo to Luxor
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo’s domestic airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you have the option to visit Abydos, an important ancient Egyptian religious site associated with the god Osiris. Explore the Temple of Seti I, one of the most beautifully preserved sites in Egypt, before continuing to the Temple of Hathor at Dandara. Afterward, transfer to your hotel in Luxor for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Nile Cruise – East Bank Tour
Start the day by visiting the Temple of Karnak, the largest religious site in the world, and the Luxor Temple, famous for its stunning statues of Ramses the Great. Afterward, board your Nile cruise and enjoy lunch on board. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 7: Nile Cruise – West Bank Tour
Breakfast on board, then cross to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Visit the tombs of various dynasties and the Temple of Deir El Bahari. Afterward, stop at the Colossi of Memnon for a photo opportunity. Enjoy lunch on board and spend the afternoon at leisure. Tea service will be available before you overnight in Luxor.

Day 8: Nile Cruise
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, then sail to Kom Ombo. After lunch on board, visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo. Tea service will be provided in the afternoon. Overnight in Kom Ombo.

Day 9: Nile Cruise – Aswan
After breakfast, sail to Aswan and begin your tour with a visit to the High Dam, followed by a boat ride on the Nile to the island of Agilkia, home to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Explore the Temple of Isis, a stunning monument relocated from its original location due to the construction of the dam. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 10: Aswan to Cairo
After breakfast on board, disembark your cruise and have the option to visit Abu Simbel. The grand temples built by Ramses II are a highlight of ancient Egyptian architecture. Afterward, return to Aswan for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11: Alexandria Tour
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up to begin your Alexandria tour. Start with a visit to the Library of Alexandria, the largest library in the world, followed by a photo stop at the statues of Alexander the Great and Ptolemy I. Continue to the Roman Amphitheater and the Sunken Monuments of Alexandria. Visit the Church of St. Mark, the oldest church in Africa, and explore the traditional markets of Alexandria. Optionally, enjoy lunch at a renowned fish restaurant or famous Alexandrian eatery. The tour will also include stops at El Nabi Daniel Mosque, the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, and the Montaza Gardens. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Alexandria.

Day 12: Rosetta Tour
After breakfast, your guide will take you on a 60 km journey to Rosetta. Explore the town and visit the castle where the Rosetta Stone was discovered in 1799. You will also explore the Islamic monuments of the area, followed by a scenic boat ride to see the meeting point of the Nile and the Mediterranean. Return to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 13: Cairo Free Day
After breakfast, enjoy a free day to relax or explore Cairo at your own pace. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 14: Departure
After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Cairo airport and assist you with the departure formalities.
