Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you’ll be greeted by a Best Egypt Tours representative holding a personalised sign. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids & Egyptian Museum Tour

After breakfast, begin your day at the Egyptian Museum, home to over 5,000 years of history, including the iconic treasures of Tutankhamun. Continue to the Great Pyramids of Giza—Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos—along with the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. In the evening, you may opt for the spectacular Sound & Light Show at the pyramids.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan & Nile Cruise Embarkation

Enjoy an early breakfast before transferring to Cairo airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the High Dam and the Philae Temple. Afterwards, board your luxurious Nile cruise. Lunch and dinner are served on board.

Day 4: Kom Ombo & Edfu

Sail to Kom Ombo and explore the unique temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Enjoy an afternoon tea onboard as the cruise continues to Edfu.

Day 5: Edfu & Luxor

Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu before crossing the lock and sailing to Luxor. Optional visits to Karnak and Luxor Temples, which showcase the grandeur of ancient Thebes, are available. Relish another delightful evening on the cruise with dinner and entertainment.

Day 6: Luxor West Bank & Return to Cairo

Disembark after breakfast to explore Luxor’s West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Optionally, experience a breathtaking hot air balloon ride over Luxor. Later, transfer to Luxor airport for your flight back to Cairo.

Day 7: Alexandria Day Trip

After breakfast, travel to Alexandria for a full-day tour. Highlights include the Library of Alexandria, the Citadel of Qaitbay (built on the original site of the Lighthouse of Alexandria), the royal gardens of King Farouk, Abbo Elabbas Mosque, and the Church of St. Mark. Stroll along the Corniche and visit Stanley Bridge for modern Alexandria’s charm. Return to Cairo in the evening.

Day 8: Departure from Cairo

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight. A Best Egypt Tours representative will assist with your final departure formalities.
