Itinerary
Your Best Egypt Tours guide and manager will be awaiting your arrival at Safaga Port, holding a sign with your name for easy identification. There is no need for you to search for them, as they will find you and ensure a seamless start to your tour.
Once your journey begins, your guide will provide you with full attention, sharing interesting insights about the sites you will visit as well as the attractions you will encounter along the way.
You will be transferred by a modern, air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor, which is approximately a three-hour drive from Safaga. Upon arrival, you will visit the renowned Karnak Temples, the largest and most significant place of worship ever constructed, and one of the greatest examples of ancient religious architecture. Within the temple complex, you will be amazed by the grand Hypostyle Hall, an incredible space filled with giant pillars.
After lunch at a local restaurant, you will continue your journey to the West Bank of the River Nile. Here, you will view the imposing Colossi of Memnon, the colossal statues of Amenhotep III. Then, you will visit the Valley of the Kings, a site renowned for its magnificent tombs of ancient Egyptian kings, carved deep into the desert rock and richly decorated with treasures meant to accompany the pharaohs into the afterlife. The final stop on your tour will be the stunning Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahary, an impressive structure dedicated to Egypt’s only female pharaoh, Queen Hatshepsut. The temple rises from the desert plain in a series of terraces, blending harmoniously with the surrounding limestone cliffs.
After your exploration, your guide will escort you back to your cruise at Safaga Port. Should you have time, additional photo opportunities or stops in Luxor can be arranged.
