Day 1: Arrival – Cairo Tour
Your Best Egypt Tours guide and manager will be waiting to welcome you at Alexandria Port, holding a sign with your name for easy identification. There is no need to look for them; they will find you and ensure your journey begins smoothly.
From the moment your tour starts, your guide will give you their full attention, sharing insights about the sites you will visit and other points of interest along the way.
Begin your adventure by travelling to the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Visit the iconic Great Sphinx, the Valley Temple, and several outstanding photo stops. Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to a panoramic photo stop overlooking the Nile River and Cairo city.
Next, explore the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, which houses King Tutankhamun’s treasures. This museum features an extraordinary collection of artifacts from the Pharaonic period, spanning over 5,000 years of history. Admire more than 250,000 genuine artifacts, including the treasures, gold, and jewellery of King Tutankhamun, which were sealed in his tomb for over 3,500 years until their discovery in the 1920s.

Day 2: Cairo Tour and Return to Port
After breakfast, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby to begin your second day of exploration. Start by visiting Old Cairo, where you will see the Hanging Church, one of the oldest churches in Egypt, and the historic Ben Ezra Synagogue. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before proceeding to the Citadel of Salah al-Din.
The Citadel, built by Salah al-Din in the 12th century, was a seat of power for 700 years. On the premises, you will visit the Mohammed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, a stunning structure built in the Turkish style and reminiscent of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.
Finally, you will be escorted back to Alexandria. On the way, enjoy a brief stop to take photographs of the famous Library of Alexandria and the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Your guide will ensure you return to your cruise ship two hours before departure.
